Medical Sales - Implant Dentistry

NEW Key Account / Sales Position

Salvin Dental Specialties, a leader in surgical instruments for Implant Dentistry, is adding a Key Account / Sales Professional to our award winning Charlotte based team.

This is a great place to work. We are a 30 year old privately held company with a track record of significant growth, and ZERO turnover on our sales team in the past 7 years.

Our owners are unrelated, aged 60, 40, and 39 and are all actively involved in the business. Our CEO, President and Vice President all continue to  Òcarry a bagÓ and interact with customers.

We are customer, quality and service focused, and are not dependent on venture capital or outside shareholders who might put short-term goals ahead of the big picture.

You will be part of our professional sales team spending time in front of groups of qualified, motivated buyers in a professional learning/selling environment with no door to door selling or cold calling. Our ideal candidate knows how to work without filling out a call report and is big-picture driven.

Our business model creates significant face time with well-qualified surgeons, without spending unproductive windshield or waiting room time. We have a strong track record of success with award-winning pharmaceutical reps who have outgrown the traditional pharma sales model.

Our customers are surgical specialists, specifically Oral Surgeons, Periodontists, Prosthodontists, and General Dentists who have taken advanced training to surgically place implants in their practice. These doctors typically represent the top 5% of the profession, and our products are of great interest to them. Our customers purchase directly from us without going through hospital contracts or formularies.

Because our products are used for elective fee for service procedures, we are relatively immune to the shifts in provider reimbursements, which continue to redefine compensation and opportunity in traditional medical and pharmaceutical sales positions.

Salvin Dental is the recipient of the North Carolina World Trade Association Governor's International Trade Award, the Gateway Award for international trade and has been recognized multiple times as a Charlotte Business Journal / Pricewaterhouse Coopers / Bank of America Fast 50 company.
