Bob Salvin Bob Salvin - Founder & CEO
Bob has over 25 years experience in the dental industry, with thousands of hours of continuing education in implant dentistry. In 1985, he focused the company on specialized instrumentation for implant dentistry. Since then, he has developed many of the unique products in our catalog.

Bob is an alumnus of North Carolina State University, the Strategic Coach Program and the Center For Creative Leadership. He is a Past President of the Charlotte World Trade Association, a member of the Mayor's International Cabinet, and a Past President of the Metrolina Business Council. He is a founding member of the Business Innovation and Growth Council, a peer to peer CEO group for high growth companies, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.

In 2009, Bob received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Award in the manufacturing and distribution category in the Carolinas.

Bob has traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoys photography, cars and fine dining.

William Simmons William Simmons - President
William has over 15 years experience in the healthcare field and has thousands of hours of continuing education in implant dentistry. He joined Salvin Dental in 1998 and became President of the company in 2005. William is accountable for key industry leader relationships as well as new product development. William also manages the international business.

William is an alumnus of Appalachian State University, the Harvard Business School Management Development Program, and the Strategic Coach, a three year focusing program for successful entrepreneurs. He is on the Industry Advisory Committees for the American Academy of Periodontics, the Southern Academy Of Periodontology, and the Academy Of Osseointegration.

William enjoys softball, volleyball, basketball, billiards, roller-skating, and baseball card collecting.

Greg Slayton Greg Slayton - Vice President
Greg has 9 years of experience in the dental industry, following 5 years as the sales manager for a business telecommunications company. Prior to entering the business world, Greg spent 5 years with the police department, serving as a field-training officer for rookie police officers.

Greg is accountable for our Charlotte based professional sales team, which travels to and supports over 250 hands-on implant courses and professional association meetings each year. He is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, the Harvard Business School Management Development Program, and the Strategic Coach, a three year focusing program for successful entrepreneurs.

Greg is active in his church, enjoys coaching youth sports and attending professional football games.
