Bob Salvin - Founder & CEO
Bob Salvin, with over 40 years experience in the dental industry and thousands of hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, has been involved in developing many of the unique instruments and biomaterials in our catalog.
He is an alumnus of North Carolina State University, the Strategic Coach Program and the Center For Creative Leadership.
Bob is the recipient of the Gateway International Trade Award, the North Carolina Governor’s International Trade Award and has been honored by the Seattle Study Club with the Charlie English Community Education Award. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Queens University in Charlotte, and is a Past President of the Charlotte World Trade Association, and the Metrolina Business Council. Bob is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner.
He has traveled extensively throughout the world and enjoys photography, classic cars and fine dining
William Simmons - President / Partner
William has over 27 years experience in the healthcare field and has thousands of hours of continuing education in implant dentistry. He joined Salvin Dental in 1998 and became President of the company in 2005.
William is accountable for key industry leader relationships as well as new product development. William also manages the international business and oversees the daily operations of the company.
William is an alumnus of Appalachian State University, the Harvard Business School Management Development Program, and the Strategic Coach, a three year focusing program for successful entrepreneurs. He has served on the Industry Advisory Committees for the American Academy of Periodontics, the Southern Academy Of Periodontology, and the Academy Of Osseointegration.
William enjoys spending time with his wife and dog. His hobbies include softball, billiards, roller-skating, baseball card collecting and attending professional sporting events and concerts.
Greg Slayton - Vice President / Partner
Greg has over 18 years of experience in the dental industry. Prior to entering the business world, he spent 5 years with the police department, serving as a field-training officer for rookie police officers. Greg also served in the United States Army Reserves for 6 years before receiving an honorable discharge.
Greg is responsible for the overall customer experience at our company. He coaches and trains our Charlotte Based Sales Team, our Geographic Based Sales Team, and our Customer Service Team to make sure that we deliver what we promise to our customers.
He is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina - Charlotte, the Harvard Business School Management Development Program, and the Strategic Coach, a three year focusing program for successful entrepreneurs.
Greg is active in his church, enjoys golf, fishing and attending professional football games.
